Annette's Frock of the Week - Ruby Smallbone

This week’s contestant on the Elephant Runway is Ruby Smallbone’s – “The Strokes Strapless Twist Dress”. I refer to this frock as a “cocktail with a twist” as it is sexy but tasteful, a “look to kill”.

This is a statement dress as it really epitomises the phrase “less is more”. It has a sweetheart cut, simple colouring and I think very fashion forward. Wearable for the young at heart.

Ruby Smallbone’s new collection for the season has a ballerina appeal, appropriate for a slow dance or an enchanted evening at the opera. I believe this frock belongs in every girl’s spring/summer 08/09 wardrobe as it includes the right concoction of sweetness and seductiveness. Stay posted for more fashion goss from your frock expert
